The MBAM OneBuild 2018 exhibition will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Malaysia from 13 to 15 November 2018, with larger floor space and more comprehensive programmes. The three-day event provides an ideal platform for the construction and infrastructure industry players to foster new relationships, exchange ideas and learn about the latest innovations, in addition to showcasing their products and services.
The MBAM OneBuild 2018 is endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) for its international trade fair status, and it is fully supported by the Malaysian Government and major construction bodies such a the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
The exhibition has also received supports from various industry related associations including the Building Materials Distributors Association of Malaysia (BMDAM), Malaysia Heavy Construction Equipment Owners Association (MHCEOA), American Concrete Institute (ACI-Malaysia) and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), among others.
This year, the MBAM OneBuild will be held in conjunction with the 44th International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations (IFAWPCA) Convention. This international convention is hosted by the Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) and is expected to gather around 1,000 participants from more than 20 countries.
A full day conference is planned for 14 November 2018 to address the challenges faced by the construction industry, so that companies can stay up to date and remain competitive and relevant in spite of increased global competition and higher cost of doing business. According to the organiser, a panel of renowned international speakers has been lined up to talk about ‘Global Mega Wave and Challenges Impacting Profits’, which will be followed by forums to discuss the ‘Emerging Trends and the External Threats and Opportunities’. There will also be a commercial opportunity for exhibitors and sponsors to network directly with the conference and convention delegates.
